Timber Hills

In May of 2020, we were able to get my mom, who needed a more supportive living environment, into assisted living care at Timber Hills in Inver Grove Heights. It was one of the best moves that our family has ever made. There are so many regularly scheduled activities that she is able to participate in – bingo, movies, concerts, and many other special events – that it keeps you schedule filled throughout the week. They also have a well-equipped, senior-designed exercise / workout room that Mom takes advantage of daily. They have on-site hair salon that Mom takes advantage of regularly. She looks forward to sharing three good meals each day with friends who are also residents at TH. We are also thankful for the spiritual focus of Timber Hills. My mother-in-law and her husband have lived at Timber Hills for many years…first in a townhome, then in an independent living apartment, and now in an assisted living apartment. They very much enjoy interacting with the many friends they have made through the years, as well as the cheerful, compassionate, and skilled assistance they receive. Our mother lived at Timber Hills from the time the facility was opened. First in the townhomes, then in an apartment and finally in assisted living. I have nothing but good things to say about the entire experience. The staff are caring and kind, the facilities are clean and very nice. Really would be hard pressed to think of a complaint!

The staff at Timber Hills has been wonderful. My mom needed special preperation for her surgery. The staff were phenomenal in how they provided assistance, which included giving my mom 2 showers. I thought my mom would object to getting this help. After the first shower, she was thrilled. She said they did a good job and were gental After the 2nd one, she said I should give this to my friends. She has dimensia and I believe she thought she was at a spa. For this prep, I was able to stay overnight with my mom. One of the staff, without hesitation, offered the use of their air mattress, which worked perfectly. My father, Famous Amos (nickname), lived here in assisted living and then memory care and passed into the hands of God after 3 years. After over 10 years I am still thankful in my heart every day for the amazing, compassionate, and kind care they gave him every single day. The staff were the ones who served him even on his final day I witnessed first hand their care and giving to other residents. They were always patient, kind, and willing to help all residents and their families. Fabulous programs for all in a beautiful setting. You could always see staff in the building and available at all times in memory care. My precious Mother in Law is at Bridgedale Hospice Care in Eagan and we haven't seen any care staff at various times of the day in the memory care area during her first 7 days t
