Kendall Honda Service and Parts

I took my 2016 Pilot in for a regular oil change, as was indicated my maintenance schedule. The service was completed quickly, and I was on my way in a timely fashion. They performed a multi-point inspection, with my permission. The inspection showed that my tires were past their expiration date, and should probably be replaced in the near future. They were original equipment, so I wasn’t surprised. I scheduled a tire replacement for two days later, after checking their quote against other tire sellers. Their price quote was the best. I had the same service advisor, Ian Jarvis, for both visits. He did an excellent job of explaining all the steps they were going to do, both times. Kendall has always handled my service needs, and I have never had a problem.

I had a fantastic experience at Kendall Honda despite running into some annoying situation where I had to leave my car for a few days. Ian went above and beyond to make a stressful situation much more manageable. He took the time to clearly explain what my car needed and broke down the cost of everything in detail so I knew exactly what to expect. Since the repair took a few days, I had to get a rental. The team made that process seamless — they personally drove me over to the rental place, and when my car was ready, the Kendall rental staff gave me a ride back to the dealership. We've been bringing our CR-V here for almost 6 years. While they do charge dealer prices for service, they also go above and beyond to ensure that each visit is a good experience. I appreciate getting a report at the end of each visit that's color coded and very clear about the condition of our vehicle, and outlining what service should be done soon. It makes it easy for us to decide if there are things we can do ourselves (air filters) or things that we need to budget and schedule. Everyone we have worked with in the service and parts departments have been friendly, courteous, and helpful.

I recently moved to Eugene from out of state and this was my first time at this location. I made an appointment online a few days before. Jaylynn called me two days before to confirm the services I needed done and she was extremely helpful. She answered questions before I could even ask them! I wasn’t sure if she was going to be my advisor when I actually got there, but she came and got me almost as soon as I pulled up. I was really happy because she made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I was there for about two hours for an oil & transmission fluid change, which was expected based on my past experiences at other Honda locations. Shayla was great and made my trip convenient when my wife scheduled our services together not realizing Toyota was a different Kendall than Honda. They accommodated and even ran parts over from Toyotas shop so that we could stay together for her services and mine. When there was an issue with the oil filter they again ran over to Toyota for me and installed an upgrade part for free. They apologized for the wait but honestly they did everything and more to make it comfortable and painless for us. These are the people you want to have your back when car troubles arise.
