Lakeview Laundry & Car Wash

It’s a laundromat and it gets its job done. Although it does feel a bit old, rustic and in need of a renovation like the one at Super One Foods, there is a (once-working) drink machine, a working vending machine, a multiplayer pac-man console, a coin dispenser, a few little machines where you drop a coin in and it rewards you with a little toy or candy like a gum-ball machine, and plenty of washing and drying machines for your laundry. There’s also a cool old television and a little table for people to sit, as well as some maps of the area on the wall near the vending machines. Oh, and there’s also a restroom (I’d assume that’s important to most people who have to sit in one place for around an hour). Worst laundromat ever. Very dirty. Mouse droppings very visible. Most machines out of order. Also running a commercial sheet service so all the good machines are being used for that.

Pretty gross and dingy car wash. Poor water pressure and fairly expensive. Would not recommend. Did not use the laundromat so I can't comment on that.

It's really not as bad as some of the more recent reviews suggest. Maybe the owners listened and cleaned the place up a bit and got the machines fixed. There's a restroom, a place to change bills to coins that accepts $1, $5, $10, and $20. You can buy soap for one load for $1 in quarters. The washers cost $4 in quarters, and the dryers are $0.50 for each 7 minutes, and you can pick low medium and high heat. I did three loads of laundry here and the total time was about an hour and a half. There are tables to fold your dried laundry, and vending machines for snacks and drinks. It's humid in there in the summer; no AC, and I couldn't buy a dryer sheet, but it gets the job done. It's basically like most laundromats. Stopped in to wash our car. Took a minute to figure it out. No attendant to ask questions. It's all self serve. $2.50 for about 21/2 minutes of rinse, soap etc in the car wash. Didn't use the laundry except to exchange bills for quarters. The place is old but was clean and had a ton of machines.
