Walker Tire & Service

They don’t carry tires, or staff people able to patch tires. Not sure why they are even in business? Jan 24th, Saturday, they are open and not able to help at all. You’d think I “tire and service” center would be able to help with a flat tire.

The knowledge that Nate had and the way he took care of me and squeezed me in even though he wasn't sure if he could or not. He still did. I was in and out of there in a brief amount of time. I am very impressed and I will be using their services from here on out. Just a quick FYI. Ask for the coupon before you get your oil changed LOL and then don't be like me and forget it when you leave.

I was in a jam. I was an out-of-towner, visiting the Walker area for just a couple of days. It was Labor Day and my alternator petered out (as diagnosed by my brother-in-law, who was with me). I managed to get my 04 F150 to the Walker Tire and Service (Napa) lot. I pulled on the door, knowing it would likely be locked due to the holiday. Of course, I was right. As my brother-in-law and I started walking toward a beer, as needed given the situation, the owner of the shop popped his head out and asked if there was something we needed. He welcomed us in and we explained the situation. He and his wife/partner quickly determined they had the part and could squeeze me in before I had to depart two mornings later. Exhaust system broke apart, pulled in and was immediately helped. Needed to return to Minneapolis and they were a lifesaver. Fast and superb quality of work. I won’t hesitate to call on them again.

About two weeks ago, I called the business to get a quote on set of tire for my GMC pick up truck. The lady(Alexa)on the phone with me, recommended a set of Toyo tires with a great price. I arrived on site and had the tires installed. After the tires were installed, I had discussed with Alexa on the requied tire pressure and to relearn the tires pressure. She got upset with me, and stated she "been in the tire business many years and I know what I am doing". The tires pressure got relearned. I returned home and now one of my hub cap is missing. I will now need to order a replacement. Today, Sunday, I am missing another hub cap, so far the cost is$160.00 for replacements, how about credit?
