Nice place! If your vehicle is in need of repairing I believe this place will get you fixed up and running in no time. Friendly staff, fair, good pricing, negotiable, and great location! This place was the most direct and forward without all the car dealership talk and run around. I was about to give up on all gatesville mechanic shops until I found Lone Star Automotive. Went in there to get an oil change and too see if they could fix my thermostat. They were so friendly explaining what was wrong with my car. Kevin keep me updated and had my car running within a couple of hours. Even told me the right type of Coolant to use...I will definitely be coming back to get my car fixed by the guys that work here. They are honest, friendly, helpful and reasonable priced.

This is the best place to trust anyone with your vehicles. Kevin truly listens and will do everything in his power to put your mind at ease. It's really special to know I can walk into this shop and be known by name and greeted so warmly. You truly are in good hands at this shop.

Found myself stuck on the side of road outside of my normal route. I started calling service stations to get assistance. Lone Star Automotive was the only one that answered and assisted in getting me a tow truck and going out of his way to fix my vehicle issues. The communication during the repair was excellent. Not only was I a customer but I was treated like a real person. Even though I live out of town from the service, I will return here and recommend this automotive repair shop to my friends and family. I highly recommend!
