McClain's RV Rockwall

To begin, my husband and I had the BEST purchasing experience at McClains RV in Rockwall. The entire staff went above and beyond, and were just fabulous. However, Carl Miller, the Service Manager, who sold us our RV stood out and made a lasting impression on us. We were not new to Grand Design and McClains. In 2025 we had purchased our Grand Design 22RBE, and went to the RV show to look at exhibits to help modify the suspension. We were not specifically looking for a new RV. However, upon entering the show we were immediately in the McClains Grand Design section and took note to one particular fifth wheel, that we were told could be pulled with a 1/2 ton Tundra. Came by to look at a RV. The lady behind the desk was super nice, but the guy she had shown me vehicles was a complete jerk with attitude would not recommend dealing with that person can’t remember his name and I’m glad I don’t know his name. Was planning on buying but I guess they are too cocky. I came by Saturday morning, November 1. They don’t train their sales people worth a crap!!! The parts guy was nice.

I bought a used rv from them and that transaction was supper smooth. Over the last few years I have had to do repairs on it. Diego in parts has always been so helpful on making sure I got the right part for what I needed. Great coustomer service.

Called this dealership, looking for a small camper. On the phone, they were great! No pressure whatsoever. When I arrived though, completely different story. My salesman (I think his name was David) showed me 1 or 2 units then immediately wanted to try and put it on "paper". Tried pushing me to enter my spouse's information on their website without talking to her prior. Making the statement "won't effect credit" To me, thats pretty shady. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere and not returning to this dealership, if that's how they conduct business.
