Other shops should take notes, this Meineke on Coastal Highway in Lewes, DE is the gold standard for auto care! The entire establishment and team deserve to be celebrated. They are quick, efficient, but never cut corners. They operate on schedule (a rarity in this industry), and the experience is consistently seamless. The facility itself is exceptional - by far the best of any shop I’ve visited. The lobby is enormous (5–6x larger than most other Meineke locations), thoughtfully spaced, climate-controlled, and stocked with above-average amenities: comfortable indoor/outdoor seating, charging outlets, WiFi, clean bathrooms, and refreshments. My car was having trouble starting after the big snow storm we had. I called and was able to get an appointment quickly the next day. They tested my battery and everything else and everything was fine! Just a moment of panic on my part. They were so kind and service was quick and professional. Thanks so much for your help!

Update: OK, so I brought my GMC back up for the brake job and new tires. It's always hard to say you happy after having spent nearly $2000, but my car is working better than it has in years. So yes, I'm very happy and I don't feel like I was taken advantage of. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely! Brought two cars up for oil changes. Meineke did their standard inspection of both vehicles. I can’t say I was surprised when one came back needing new tires and brakes. I was planning on getting an estimate for each but figured I’d see what else they’d find. Nothing, they found nothing else. I made an appointment; arrived just prior to my designated time. I was cordially greeted by the service desk and they promptly began servicing my vehicle. They quickly completed the oil change & tire rotation in about 30 minutes. I am very pleased with this Meineke's service and operation. I'm bringing my other car in for servicing tomorrow --- that's a good recommendation from me!
