The Lodge at Historic Lewes

Absolutely beautiful place. Loved meeting with both Kaitlyn and Paula. Would feel at ease if my inlaws decided to choose this as a next step. So much to offer that would enhance their quality of life together as they journey through their 80's.

While the outside looks nice the inside is a mess. Watch your bills. I have been billed for things and they can’t even tell me what the charges are for. I have been as high up as Rita(co owner) for many instances and she blew me off as well as Dean. My aunt who is in memory care likes it because the lower employees are somewhat ok. Forget about the director of nursing…useless and lazy. My aunt became sepic there and didn’t acknowledge it. I have complained multiple times and even things that are on my aunts action plan get ignored. I read your reply. Dean left a message yes once. Why would i need to respond when nothing gets resolved? Had a tour of the Lodge at Historic Lewes for my mother-in-law. Kaitlin was flexible with her schedule and very thorough during our time together. The Lodge was modern, decorated perfectly, bright and welcoming to all. The staff seemed energetic and happy. The biggest takeaway for me, were the residents who all looked happy. They were all dressed and groomed as if they were going to a party. Keep up the good work at the Lodge in Lewes and I will personally be a resident one day in the future.

From our first meeting through the successful move of my friend, Linda, everyone at The Lodge was amazing. Kaitlin and Rhonda were so kind and supportive during this somewhat stressful time. On move-in day, everything was at the ready and all the staff was so helpful! The Lodge is a beautiful, cheery, clean facility with dining areas that feel like a restaurant not a school cafeteria, but most important, all the staff are very pleasant and welcoming. We are very pleased with our choice and experience at The Lodge.
