I brought my 2016 Chev Express to the Branford Midas on 11/15/25 (1st Visit) for Check Engine Light / Diagnostic; engine would stall / extreme vibrations when accelerating. After 3 business days, tech called - Engine Codes would suggest ECM to be replaced. ECM Part Cost: $359 + Reprogram Fee $275 + Labor / Total $985 FYI - online part (19433026) cost $101 At pickup of vehicle on 11/21/25, Anthony claimed that the Engine Light was no longer illuminated - no further issues. On 12/3/25 the Engine Light comes on again with the same vibration when stopping / difficulty in acceleration. Contacted Anthony who recommended another diagnostic / Engine Codes be reviewed. Revisited the location (2nd visit) to have another Diagnostic Check be performed. Anthony claimed codes were showing a Coolan

Extremely disappointing experience, poor communication, unfair charges, and messy workmanship. I brought my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek to the Branford Midas on 10/31/25 after a crossover hose ripped. I arrived around 1 PM and didn’t leave until after 5 PM, even though the repair itself took minutes once the part arrived. The manager, Anthony Salvati, apologized for the delay, yet I was still charged two full hours of labor ($264.99) for that one hose, plus $20 more for a simple coolant flush. When I explained that my upper and lower radiator hoses had already been replaced elsewhere and were under warranty, I was told my refusal to replace them here would void Midas’ warranty on the crossover hose — something that didn’t feel right. I came here to get an alignment done and had a great experience. The staff was professional, explained everything clearly, and got the job done quickly. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and I didn’t feel pressured into unnecessary services. My car drives so much smoother now after the alignment—definitely worth it. I was on the way to work, going up Branford Hill when I got a flat tire....I pulled into Midas and they pulled my car right in to help me out, which I am very grateful for! I leave, get down the road and my Rear tire goes flat. I put my spare on, drive back to Midas and they once again get right to fixing it. They have been generous and fantastic, I am extremely grateful for their help, especially during this time in my life. Thank you Midas

Midas helped us out twice with my car. Once for a new battery and another was for a blinker light out. Both times they were courteous, helpful, and were able to fit us in and finish same day with no appointment. Would definitely recommend! Thank you!
