Minot Motorworks

I haven’t had a regular mechanic in a long time. Growing up, my Dad had a shop in Hyde Park and that’s where we went. For years, my husband and I used gas stations for things like tires and thermostats. Bigger jobs we’ve tried a few different shops, but either the service or the price didn’t make us want to keep going back. I had seen all the great reviews for Minot Motorworks while looking for a place to get my brakes done. They were really grinding and I had to get them done. I have an older Jaguar and parts can be expensive. I also have felt at some places that it’s not just the parts that are expensive! I called Paul and he told me to bring it in 2 days later. At the last minute, I told him that one of the rear parking sensors had gotten pushed in, resulting in THE MOST obnoxiou

These guys came through for me in a big way. I needed a spark plug and wheel bearing replacement on short notice and they got my car in and fixed everything quickly and competently. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and their great reputation is well-earned. I highly recommend this place and am really grateful for their fantastic service.

Paul and John are honest and competent and thorough. As the owner of an older car, I am grateful for their ability to keep my car running smoothly and as inexpensively as possible. They give me a heads up on what has to be done immediately, and what can wait until the next visit.

I have all three of my cars serviced at Minot, I fully trust their work and they are very honest. I will never use another auto shop, Paul and John are the best. P.S. Very fair pricing.

So, Paul and Team are miracle workers. Brought in an aging Porsche in need of shameful repair ... a few weeks later ... boom! ... runs like a top. Ship shape, detailed 'and' inspected ... utterly awesome work. Many thanks guys!!
