Yesterday I took my SUV in for a NYS inspection. After 40 minutes I was called up to the desk. I was presented with a number of papers which included 4 photos of the inside front right and left wheels. Ashley (the front desk manager) attempted to explain what the issue was but could not provide a detailed explanation of what was wrong. I immediately took this as a red flag and told her I did not have the time to stick around to discuss. I asked if the car would pass, she said no. I paid the $22 and immediately drove down the street to a local repair shop and scheduled an appointment for today. Guess what, my car passed inspection with no issues! I asked the mechanic to review the paper work and images provided by Monroe. He just laughed and said there was no issue. Kind of make you wonder

I went to Valvoline for an overdue oil change, and shortly after, my car had a squeaky noise on startup. Which I had noticed before and in low gears driving. the tech explained that it was likely the serpentine belt needing lubrication. Even though they couldn’t offer that service there. Thanks to that explanation and recommendation, I took the car to my local shop, where it turned out to be a quick, no-charge fix. I appreciated the honesty and education from the staff, which ultimately helped resolve another issue. Overall, a helpful experience and good customer service. And the online coupons are a great value!

I brought my car in at 9am on the Sunday before Christmas with a flat tire. The store asst manager could not have been kinder. My tire was evaluated, a new tire found, and returned to me by 1130am. What efficiency!! I returned later in the day for help resetting my indicator light. Again, so nice and helpful. Will definitely return for my auto needs.

I called first thing in the morning, and got a 9 AM appointment for Car inspection. The manager, Ashley, was courteous and organized. Her staff promptly did the work. I was pleased with the experience.

Worse experience at this location. Simple alignment when I purchased new tires. They screw it up so I bring it back..3 times and then they made it even worse. Took me 4 times to get my car sorted out. Extremely inexperienced techs. Do yourself a favor and don't ever trust these ppl with your car.
