MTR Transmission and Auto

Every single woman’s worst nightmare is finding out that the only vehicle you have has a bad transmission. I had my vehicle towed to MTR, and they immediately did diagnostics on it after I spoke to them on the phone and told them what I was experiencing. They gave me updates at all times prior to making any repairs. They told me exactly what I had going on and what I would need to have done. I made them aware that I had no other vehicle and that hopefully they could get it taken care of quickly. I spoke with Rachel the whole time with any updates or issues, and she and her team were not only extremely courteous and friendly to me, but they went above and beyond to make sure I got my vehicle back in a timely manner. We came up from the lower 48 for a hunting trip and had some ball joints fail on the drive up. They were fantastic. They got us in quickly found the problem and helped get parts quickly. They did have an issue with a new part being bad and having too much play. They immediately brought it to my attention but got us out the door to make our hunting trip and had us run back by on our way back through where they warranteed the part and replaced for free. Can’t say enough good things about how they were to work with and how the handled the situation. Top class honestly and great work. The two girls up front were great and helpful and the techs did a great job. Thank you guys!!!

I was able to get an appointment to fix a power steering leak very quickly. Since it was alot less expensive than I thought it would be. I decided to have the shocks and struts replaced. Rachel coordinated ordering the parts and I was able to get the car back to them before I left town for a few days. Picked up the car and it drives nice.

The BEST experience i've ever had with any mechanic. I will never go anywhere else. Friendly staff, tight turnaround time, very reasonable prices. I have had a few bad experiences with mechanics in Fairbanks, so this place is a total breath of fresh air. I am grateful for the honest and quality service they are providing 🙌 🙏.
