My wife and I from Korea have been traveling around the world in our car for 2 years. Then we had a problem starting the car here in Fairbanks. So we came here. Fortunately, the problem never happened again, so we didn't have to do anything. But we remember the warm hospitality and care of the owner and his wife, and their dedicated efforts to solve the problem somehow. Thank you very much. This place blows me away! They always answer the phone and are always friendly. Emily never makes you feel like you are just a number, taking her time to communicate and be honest. They also do their very best to be careful with your hard earned money by not marking up car parts. We have had some bad experiences with getting charged for new parts that were never actually installed at a different automotive repair here in town. I feel valued and safe knowing without a doubt Solo Performance would never do something like that!

About two weeks ago, when the temp dropped to below 40, my car went into limp mode and threw all the warning signs. Since I know absolutely nothing about the car, trying to find a repair shop on Saturday and calling pretty much all the shops listed on Google was not fun. Then I found this shop and Pete! He is by far the best mechanic ever! He took his time explaining potential issues and helped me troubleshoot on my own; when it failed, he kept his shop open after hours to make sure I could get the car towed to his shop. He genuinely cared about my concerns, unlike typical auto repair shops ( yes, I had multiple unsatisfying and overcharging experiences).
