Yes, it’s not a brand-new car you’d get from a big chain, but for the price, this rental is definitely the best deal you’ll find! The car was reliable and exactly as described. The staff were super friendly, chatty, and always ready to help! I’ll definitely recommend this place to all my friends visiting Maui in the future. Pick-up was easy! the shuttle came within about 10 minutes (they said it usually runs every 20–30 minutes). I booked through UN, which is connected with Fox and All Save Car Rental,they’re all the same company. They also text you all the information and reminders you need before both pick-up and drop-off, which is super, super helpful! My experience was great. I left my wallet on the mainland and Julie helped us get my husband added to the reservation. She was friendly and efficient. The 4 runner was clean and ready. I booked through Capital One for a great price. Return was fast and efficient and a short wait for the shuttle. On the way in I explained to the shuttle driver Ella that I left my wallet home and had no cash for a tip (hubby didn’t have cash either) and she was still friendly and smiling and said it’s ok don’t worry about it. I’d rent there again.

The car had multiple issues: leaking water, a strong mold smell, noticeable shaking while driving, discoloration inside, and even a missing hubcap. I’ve been calling and texting for three days and was either ignored or hung up on. This was a terrible experience from start to finish. I would not recommend this car rental company to anyone.

It was incredible I paid 8 bucks for each day in a nice convertible. There were minor dents, though you can't really complain. The experience was amazing. The car ran great, the service people were phenomenal, and I am still in disbelief on the price. I spent a good portion of the trip pondering how it could be that cheap and what the catch would be when the time came to hand over the keys. Happy to say there was no catch and it really made my girlfriends birthday a fun one. Overall 10/10 will be going back to them again.

My experience with Nu was very good, car was older but price was better than the big name rentals. No hidden fees/catches, friendly service reps and shuttle drivers. Was worried after reading some of the other reviews.. Did take extra videos of the car out of precaution but would recommend them to anyone.
