Olive Plaza

I had some issues which I discussed with the in-house social worker. She told me I could always live somewhere else. During relocation for renovation I was dropped off at a "hotel" in Springfield and not informed about grocery runs. I found out there was a sign-up sheet, but it was located in the Olive Plaza lobby! The driver of the OP bus left for holidays and I was not informed until after the holidays that he wouldn't be available for grocery runs. No one seemed to care that I was here. There is more, but I'll leave it at that. The Asst. Mngr. Was very sweet and comforting, but she has no power to make changes.

from Japan:) I had been volunteering for 9 months, when I was an exchange student of university of Oregon from Japan. I couldn't speak English fluently, but the people -both users and other helpers- were really kind and friendly. I still have a birthday card they gave me at the final day, and I hope that they stay there calmly and healthy as long as possible. I do love them and the warm atmosphere of Olive Plaza.

My mom lives here. We are trying to find a way to get her out, but leave the bedbugs behind. The building has been battling bedbugs for at least two years. They didn’t reach my moms apartment until a few months ago. They had her apartment treated, but it was very short lived and they are back with a vengeance! It’s really sad because my mom’s family, including me, is treating her like she has the plague because we are so afraid of taking home bed bugs to our own house.

If i could give no stars i would. The staff is just so rude to my client. One man just walked away as he was talking about something that needed fixed. Also on the 3rd floor there is a spot that has been worn down and is very slippery. May i remind you this is a place for the elderly. Elderly are more at risk for slipping/falling. Hes a great gentleman and deserves to be heard just as much as anyone else here.

My mom lives there they have great staff very helpful.
