I bought a Buick Enclave from Johnny, super guy, about a week later I contacted him about the collar part on the shifter being missing and the tire monitor light. He did say take it in, but I didn't right away, my bad. But I did take the vehicle in to the GR Toyota, they want over $900 to replace, I went there because they are closer to where I live. Not under warranty. I called Preferred and wound up leaving a message for Ryan Speck since Johnny is no longer there. A week later, I left 2 more messages. He finally called back and I explained to him what was going on, he reminded me several times that it was 4 months later and yes, I can do the math, he said that I should have brought it to there attention. I scheduled a test drive after talking back and forth with one of their salespeople throughout the day. I asked about pricing and was told “we are definitely in the area” for what i wanted to pay. So i rushed down after work to test drive the vehicle. The salesman i was talking too all day was no longer there. I was handed off to a wonderful gentleman and drove the vehicle. Car was great except the passenger side rear seat looked as though was melted. Frustrating Warranty Experience I purchased a ford Expedition from them with an extended warranty through Assurant, which the Preferred confidently recommended as reliable coverage talking me into a warrant that I was unsure about to begin with but they assured me that this would be a great addition to my vehicle purchase. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing but frustrating. I have summited 3 Claims with them in the past 3 years with only getting 1 claim approved that was a small fix. My most recent is my rear A/C line failed—a component that clearly falls under the “high/low pressure hoses” listed in the warranty—I expected the repair to be covered. Instead, I was told Assurant will not speak to customers directly, only to repair shops, making it nearly impossible to advocat
