Update 10/24 MTS Road Punisher Stage 2 transmission didn't last 10k miles and now needs a full rebuild. Ron installed the throttle lever wrong and put 2qts too much ATF in. Ron stopped answering or returning my calls.

We were enroute to Buena Vista, CO and were 7 miles before Monarch Pass, when our Class A motorhome broke down. Arranging to get it towed and where to tow it was a bit of a challenge but, once I made contact with Ron, everything got easier. He recommended the tow company (who will get a glowing review too) and later that day, the RV was in his shop and because parts were not readily available, it took a couple of days but, he was very prompt and kept us informed of his progress. I have never had a better experience with a mechanic. He got us in and got us out in very good time and I'm confident in what he did and, the cost was very fair. I highly recommend this shop for ALL your mechanic needs large or small, I'm giving all the stars I can!

I had stopped by and spoken to Ron last year about a small issue with my truck which is a bit of an issue sometimes as I have installed a 6.7 Cummins in my 2009 Ford F350. Ron was very knowledgeable and we quickly fixed the problem. Just before Memorial Day I again was traveling through the area and was having a different electrical issue that was effecting my tach, causing it to move all over the place and just drop to zero at random times while driving. I called Ron to see if he could squeeze me in and Ron stated he was swamped and would not be in over the holiday weekend which I can't blame him as family should always come first in my opinion. Ron is undoubtedly an excellent mechanic and extremely dependable. But what sets him apart is his honesty and concern for you as a human being. We were stranded in the middle of nowhere in need of an new axel for our trailer. He came all the way out and fitted us with a new axel. In the period of time we needed to wait for the new axel he offered us a generator to use, as well as water and anything else we needed. We hope someday we can return the favor. He renewed out faith in mankind.
