San Diego Gas and Car Wash

One of the only gas stations besides AMPM that has the awesome 'crunch' chewable ice at the soda fountain - a must for me! Also has Nos energy drinks 2/$3 deal for the low-E folks, and refills propane tanks for $3.99/gal (fill only, no exchanges). Would be 5 stars but gas prices at this Shell station are higher than the other Shell on the opposite corner of Leucadia Blvd & Town Center Pl.

I usually do all the maintenance on my own vehicles but when it comes to despising fluids I like to take it in to my man Kalvin. He has so much knowledge on how motors run and made my work truck run so good by adding 5-40 instead of 5-30 because how it burns, they did a transmission flush and radiator flush. Running SOO!! Much better now thanks again 👍🏻

Stopped-in to get an oil change. Was told that synthetic oil was highly recommended--Not per my car manual. I showed the service tech the manual listing, he read it and told me that "Theta ll" meant synthetic oil. WRONG, It really is the model for my Hyundai engine. I have used their service for my Ford F150 before, but never again, (either car), given that he lied to me, just to make himself an extra buck on the synthetic stuff! BYE!

Just tried to rip my mom off saying that she needed the engine oil flushed because it was low. She was there for a regular oil change and they tried to scam her because she doesn't know much about cars. Luckily she called me, NEVER going near here again. BTW she drives a newer Lexus and if the oil is low the car tells you. Either way, never heard of a "flush" of engine oil. SCAM ARISTS!

I went back after not being too pleased with my detail, spoke with Marlon. He went above and beyond to detail my truck better than expected with no charge. I really appreciate his honesty & costumer service. I will always go back
