Smitty was able to check my car the same day of calling. Repairs were made which included an explanation of parts needed. Great communication, and I will definitely be returning for future automotive advice and/or repairs!

I originally visited Smitty's in need of alternator repair, which a hard task being the placement is heavily buried under the hood. Upon later investigation they realized that I had lost a belt, and in fact the alternator still worked fine. After he double checked I was charged a couple hundred instead of the initial estimate of 1400. The mechanics and the office staff were more then kind and very honest. Smitty's Auto Service is the mechanic shopped you've always dreamed of, but didn't know if it really existed. Smitty is always friendly and works to get you in and fit you in when he can! His prices are fair, and his shop does have the honest mechanic feel. He'll explain what he does and not do more than you ask. Always feel like I've received above average service here. Thanks!!

I have been going to Smitty's for over 20 years now with all my family vehicles and I have never thought twice about it! Dave has always treated me right, charged me fairly, and has always worked with me on the best repair options that I should or should not pursue! He has even answered many self-repair questions that I have asked him over the years! There is none better for car maintenance in Blair Nebraska!
