St Agnes Home

My mil needed a safe place due to falling issues. This is a great fit. The sisters and her have a great mutually respectful relationship. The staff has always been caring and encouraging. I have occasionally attended the weekly happy hour, they bring in really good entertainment. Ive attended October fest with her as well. She has been in videos and plays and they currently have her in a musical, which cracks us both up as the lady can NOT sing. But she is having fun. I love our 93 yo mom and am glad that her physical, spiritual, emotional and comfort needs are met.

Very impressed w/ facility. Care staff very visible, routinely checking, promptly assisting residents. Facility is very clean. All levels of staff visible and working vs chatting. Staff pleasant, helpful. Residents routinely state how nice the facility is and how well they are taken care of.

Finding an extended care facility for a loved one is a difficult task. I have visited numerous places over the past few years and talked to countless family members who have placed a parent in an assisted care facility. How does one find the right place? St Agnes is the right place for my Mom. She has received loving care from the nursing staff as well as attentive and timely responses to her needs. The Sisters are incredible ; kind, concerning, welcoming and loving. There are no bells and whistles such as large chandeliers and ornate furniture as in some newer places that have a hotel feeling. The feeling at St Agnes is more like home: there are beautiful pictures and antiques, extremely clean hallways and rooms., a gorgeous chapel and a faith filled community. My mom was very resis

St. Agnes was a wonderful place for mom. She lived there for almost two years. I believe it is unique in that it is small and everyone knows everyone. Mom was always treated with dignity, compassion, and kindness by ALL the staff. The Sisters’ presence and joy brought much comfort to mom and our family. Mom loved attending mass in their beautiful chapel and enjoyed dining with the other residents in the dining room. St. Agnes was a blessing and we are forever grateful for their care.

Their kindness and competent care has given us confidence in our choice of a new home for our mom. The Carmelite sisters live on site and have a dedicated, christian mission to take good care of her. We are not aware of any other facility that has this many individuals, with this mission statement, on site at all times to focus on her needs. That is the peace of mind we needed.
