The Oaks at Bethesda

We have had the good fortune of living here for more than a year. For those looking for a retirement community where you have your own home and are independent don’t miss the opportunity to consider The Oaks. It’s centrally located near Kirkwood and Webster Groves so we love the location. Our new neighbors have become our new family as well, welcoming and supportive and we get together routinely with well planned events and outings. It’s just great not to have to worry about home maintenance and landscaping, too!

Best decision we made! The staff is very kind, helpful and responsive from the management, maintenance, cleaning, meal delivery, activities, to the healthcare support. There are daily activities in the Club House where residents can exercise, meet with other residents, attend book discussions, watch movies, and gather for Bethesda hosted parties. Residents can be as active as they want or just relax and enjoy the neighborhood.

We looked at several retirement locations in our area before deciding on The Oaks and we have never looked back since. Reevaluating over the last six + years we would definitely make the same choice today. We have always felt we are getting "more bang for the buck" here. I am always pleasantly surprised by the fast response to inquiries and service requests. There is routine scheduled maintenance at our villas and the housekeeping and maintenance staff are more than minimally helpful. Nestled between Webster Groves and Kirkwood, MO., we are very close to all our medical, shopping and dining locations. Definitely put The Oaks on your evaluation schedule. Jim Klingler

I have lived at the Oaks for four years and I love the lifestyle that the facility offers retirees. I have made a lot of new friends and that really is what keeps you young and active. Things are not always perfect, but nothing in life is. I think the management team does everything possible to provide a great place to live. I love living at Bethesda Oaks. We have a warm and welcoming community. We are like a family whose members we have chosen. The villas, grounds and staff are amazing. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
