Taconite Tire

Bought a new car and had low pressure in one tire and had them look at it . They said a old patch was leaking. I come from a tire background and couldn't find a leak there myself. They stated they couldn't touch the repair in fear of causing more damage while at the same time printing out quote for 4 new tires. So I went out for second shop to look at it .. they found no leak. Aluminum rims leak and they tried to steal 600$ from us. Shameful and rude. Was great when original owner had it . Now there theifs

went into taconite tire as I am new to the Virginia area. Had a blown tire. There was a question of whether it was a warranty issue. Before I could completely explain the issue they said it was a dealership issue and I needed to bring it there. I then called Range tire in Hibbing explained the situation and now have an appointment for them to look and the tire and and take the appropriate measures to remedy the situation. Taconite tire just lost all of my future business.

Had a flat tire asked if they could do a quick repair, lady at counter was rude. I ended up changing the tire in the parking lot. Won't buy tires again from there. She didn't even ask where I got the tires from.

Great place to get tires - had a flat on a Friday afternoon and they had stock and got it changed quickly. Totally impressed!

Had an appointment for winter tires and an alignment for my work car Monday. Unfortunately there was a mix up on the order and all seasons were ordered. They got me out of there with a loaner car and had the winter tires in the next day. You can't beat small town service.
