I just love this place!! My grandmother is there, she just is living it up. They treat my grandmother so amazingly! She is as sharp as a tack she is 91. They keep them busy. The building is historical ,she really like that. It a place u can feel the live when u walk in.

I have been a resident of the Eugene Hotel for a year and a half, and I have to say it was the best decision I have made in many years. I love this place! The staff is incredible. They love the residents, and it shows. Then there is the food. Can you say gourmet meals, with multiple choices each night (except Sunday which is reserved for incredible brunches)? Meals include one of the better salad bars in this city, soup and a fruit bar! The residents are a diverse group with a wide range of interests and life experiences. Then there is the building itself. 100 years old it maintains the decor of the heyday of elegant hotels. Walking around looking at letters, pictures and memorabilia makes the place feel like a really cool museum.

Now that we've been here for almost three months, I can say this was an excellent decision. The staff are all friendly, personable, and welcoming. They are cheerful and make the residents feel like they are home. My husband loves being downtown Eugene, with all the activities the city has to offer and he takes a walk every day, something he was hesitant to do on country roads. I like that I have everything I need all in one location. If I need to go out, I can either walk, drive, bus, or request to be driven by staff. Life is good here.

I feel so fortunate to have moved into the Eugene Hotel over four months ago, when there was an apartment I liked and could afford; at the time I wanted to move. My motivation was to live in downtown Eugene, as easily, simply and conveniently as possible. The hotel checks all the boxes! Living downtown, I have easy, walkable access to culture (art, music, theater and cinema), public transportation); plus eateries and shopping galore. The hotel food is delicious and plentiful; and I don't have to think about what to eat; or shop, prepare, cook or clean up; only show up and eat! I regularly attend many of the varied scheduled activities, and already have friends to laugh and enjoy life with. Staff are professional and caring; making sure residents are happily content.

My recent move to the Eugene Hotel, upon retiring and leaving Fresno to be near my son, has turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. Searching online from California, I somehow lucked onto this gem in its perfect location in the heart of downtown Eugene. This designated National Historic Register Property (it will celebrate its 100th birthday this year) is a beautifully built and well-maintained architectural treasure. This is not your typical senior retirement living environment.. Everything you need is here, both in terms of the services and amenities of the Hotel itself and also the surrounding very walkable, bikeable or “hop on the bus” neighborhood. If you're older and ready to take life a bit easier—house maintenance, yard work, shopping, cooking, cleaning, yard
