Brain and his staff are some of the most honest, hard-working and attentive mechanics in Middle TN. They've always listened to whatever issues I was having with my car, were honest about the work involved, and very fair with their pricing. They're always on top of getting the work done in a timely fashion and have been able to resolve or give honest feedback on whatever issues my car was having. Can not recommend these guys enough!

Total Automotive exceeded my expectations. It is by far the best service I’ve received from any dealership or independent shop! They’re honest and thorough. I went in for an oil change and found that my air filter was completely dirty (they showed it to me) and a rear light was out. They took care of both at, literally, a fraction of the cost of my dealership!! I will be taking my car there for all future maintenance and repairs!

I got to Total Automotive by a google search for nearby mechanics, scrolling through what people have experienced with other shops and apparently they found the help at Total, I decided to bring my car here (Explorer2020), no major issues but even so, service was top notch , from communication to timing and overall experience 10/10. They follow up to make sure that everything is in good condition. 5 stars 👍

They’ve taken care of me. It’s always costly but they listen and work with you and I want to support locally owned business. I think they are? They always listen to what I have to say about my car, and they’ve resolved the issues I brought to them. My dad was a mechanic and he always fixed my cars and since he passed, I’ve struggled to find a place that isn’t trying to force me to fix an issue when I might not need to. They tell me what they recommend and help me find the solution based on what my car is doing, my budget and what I can and can’t put off. They are usually spot on with time assumptions, and very responsive on the phone. They do not have a credit line or any kind of payment plan option. I just moved here a few months ago and have already had a couple issues with both of my vehicles, Total Automotive has been super helpful each time! They’re always quick to get us in and take care of the issue. Their pricing also seems really fair, we will continue to rely on Total Automotive!
