Total Car Care

After doing a wheel alignment, the car would steer 4 turns to one side and 2 turns to the other side. When I discovered that, I called and made an appointment. When I explained to them they denied ever serving my car and would not acknowledge. I had to take the car else where and pay a lot more to rectify the issue.

To put it simply. The car came out worse then it went in. Fact. Went in for exhaust system and full brake job. Steering wheel is way off center now. They didn't align it after replacing both front ball joints. Front end, ball joint seems broken, ironically after just paying for both sides. I drove the car home after the 2nd time getting brakes done the brake lines weren't replaced so I had no brakes for a day. Exhaust was done nicely and almost 2g for 2 headlights. $400 in labor a piece.

I've spent thousands of dollars at this place over the years and when I decided to let them paint my 1500 Silverado, that's when the BS began for me to actually see. The paint doesn't match, they took way too long to give it back to me and it looks horrible. They offered me to bring it back so they could so call fix it. It should of been completed correctly during the MONTHS that they had it hostage. They weren't even painting the entire truck. I now have to go to someone else in order make it look good again. I have too much going on to actually flip out over this. But returning to this shop is definitely out of the question.

I had written a decent review before, but have to downgrade to a 1. I went here first to see if my 2017 Nissan Rogue was driveable for a weekend trip to West Virginia in June 2024. He wrote up a quote that would have had me replacing essentially both front and rear suspensions (I should have walked when he brought up replacing a corroding oil pan as well). I went with the front end work he said was most urgent, 0ver $3000, plus the credit card fee, because who can afford $3,000. June 2025 I start hearing a noise in the back and went to another mechanic that said the passenger side rear AND front bearings were going bad. I’ve had my car repaired several times at Total Car Care and they have always finished in a timely manner and explained exactly what they were repairing. Scott is extremely honest, trustworthy and very kind considering I had never had to handle anything relating to cars/repairs previously. He has always made me feel at ease! I cannot say enough good things about this business aside from I highly recommend them!!
