Tri Star Engines and Transmissions

What every you do, DO NOT buy an engine from here. We had one come with the cylinder head leaking right away. They sent us a new head that took weeks to get. Now here we are three years later and the engine is once again bad. They will not cover it under warranty because its 3 years and two week from the purchase date, doesn't matter to them that if they include the down time we waited for the motor to show up, and then the cylinder head to show up we would still be under the warranty time. The lady on the line when we called was very rude also and said they got bought out by another company and they don't even have the warranty claim from the first time, so i gave her the warranty claim number and everything as i still have all the paper work. Had an excellent experience with Tri-Star with Chad . answered every question about the engine that I had I bought. the engine and somehow we ordered the wrong serpentine belt kit for it so I needed to buy a couple other parts which I thought I had to buy, but they swapped it out for me at no cost no problems with it. We just got it out of the shop and got it fixed and we just got a few little things to do to it to get it fine tuned but other than that would definitely recommend them.

Poor quality engines it came to my house through AutoZone. Luckily it fell on its side and an oil started coming out of the side oil pan. so I pulled the oil panel off and found metal shavings in the bottom of the oil pan. I made a did a review on it through the AutoZone app and the company sent a representative to buy me all the engine, fluids or car fluids that I needed to install it, including the gaskets to fix it so that I take the bad review down. well I put maybe about 100,000 miles on it. I should’ve drove it more as the three year warranty is over. My oil pressure is coming on idle. I’ve changed the oil pressure sending unit and it’s not that problem. It’s making a tapping noise on the valves so I’m sure I’m gonna throw a main rod bearing . I did change the oil on time with full s

Chad and team have been awesome! My son and I decided to do a rebuild and restoration of a 1995 Ford F-150 and the Tri Star Engines and Transmissions team has been outstanding. We ordered an engine block and transmission. Both were in excellent shape and now we have a truck delivered back from the dead! Great work team!! Got first engine and had a lifter tic called customer service and sent another engine and second one is doing the same exact thing wouldn't recommend ever buying one from them ordered it from TriStar engine builders and engine come for gear head both engines are junk I have bought several engines from TriStar engine rebuilders before LQK bought them and where excellent engines but now they are not any good
