Valvoline Instant Oil Change

I visited Valvoline in Hudson, Massachusetts for a routine full synthetic oil change on my 2018 Audi Q5. The vehicle has been serviced exclusively at this location since it was purchased off lease. During the service, technicians extracted oil using a vacuum canister. The vehicle requires 5.5 quarts of oil, but 8 quarts were removed from the engine. The vehicle had been driven approximately 4,000 miles since its previous oil change. When I questioned how this occurred, staff suggested that with electronic dipsticks, technicians may overfill oil if they cannot visually confirm the level. They stated that the vehicle should have displayed a warning if the oil level were too high. No warning lights or notifications had appeared, and I had experienced no drivability issues. 5-Stars to David and Kaleigh. They were awesome very Professional. No stars: I don’t understand why the guy (not David) had to take my rear windshield wiper off when I didn’t ask him too. I haven’t used it yet, but I hope it’s now not broken because it was working just fine.

The Valvoline on 144 Washington St. Hudson, MA damaged the valve stem on my tire(s) while attempting to add air to them. When I addressed the issue with the manager Omar, he was extremely rude and refused to assist me with any help. I then contacted Valvoline corporate, who has made several attempts to contact the area manager Dwayne to address the issue. It has been a couple weeks and he has not responded to any phone calls or emails. I’m concerned this is a safety issue seeing as my dashboard warning lights are on. I would not recommend this store. Management is not holding themselves accountable for a mistake their store (employee) has made. Furthermore, there was no understanding, empathy or solution proposed when I expressed my frustration as a customer. I came for a routine oil chan
