Best service shop for a Volvo anywhere in the state as far as I’m concerned. Martin in the Service Dept. is an excellent representative of the company, and between Martin and the technicians, Royal Volvo (er, Volvo of Vestavia Hills) fixed an issue in 36 hours that another shop nearby had failed to fully resolve over the course of several visits since the beginning of this year. Because of Martin and Royal, we will remain Volvo owners.

Thanks to Mr. Grala in service, telling me that the reason why my low beam does not work on my 2017 xc90 was because the headlight is the wrong one for the car, when the car never had accidents and I never replaced the headlight, and the fact that high beam, day light and blinkers all work, and that it needs $4k to get it right. I ordered the headlight module used for $60 and now it works. Let your tech with 23 years of experience to find another job.

The service department did a routine oil change. The cap on the oil filter housing part was not put on correctly and caused an oil leak. I paid $759.76 to have the mistake fixed. Fortunately, no other engine damage happened. Needless to say, they will not getting my business in the future.
