Zionsville Auto Service is the gold standard. My car broke down on 465 and after taking it to another shop that quoted me almost $3,000 to fix, I started calling around. I spoke to Roy at Zionsville Auto Service and he said they would be able to do the fix that I was looking for (an AC bypass as opposed to replacing the whole AC group) for a reasonable price. A couple days later he called to inform me that we would have to make an alteration to our plan due to parts available for my specific car. Even better news, the new plan had a lower cost and did not change the timeline that Roy had given me for when my car would be available for pick up. I called this place because of the great reviews. The person I talked to was rude and was trying to talk me out of coming here to get my car looked at because “there will be nothing we can do”. Mind you all I was asking for was for them to see if there’s a loose wire near my gas pedal because it stopped working when I was on the highway. When I said to cancel my appointment he just said okay and didn’t say bye or anything and hung up. I don’t know much about about cars but he didn’t explain why they couldn’t help. I am disappointed with the customer service I got.

I've used them for general repairs, brake jobs on multiple vehicles for a few years. They aren't outright rude there, but they are certainly not friendly and welcoming, and I've always just tolerated it because they seemed to do quality work at a fair price and most importantly appeared trustworthy. You could believe the repairs they recommended were what was needed to get the job done safely, nothing more and nothing less. To make a long story short, I had to bring a car there for service on something they had just worked on 18 months prior. At first they didn't believe me and I had to bring in my receipt as proof. Ed at Zionsville Auto Service is AMAZING! Our engine light came on and he diagnosed the problem and fixed it at a very fair price. He was professional and knowledgeable and I wont go anywhere else. Ask for Ed!

They're very fair, honest, and reliable! They are all great guys at the shop! Can't recommend them enough!
