I’ve used American auto repair for everything from getting my side mirror replaced to general upkeep/maintenance, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else if you live in or around Spokane. The mirror fix was perfect, and everyone was so honest and helpful. Jason offered such great advice for what to do with upkeep to keep my warranty good, and it’s so incredibly helpful to have someone you trust in your corner when you are a car owner who doesn’t know much about cars. The dealership had scheduled some maintenance work that wasn’t needed for another 20,000 miles and would have been quite expensive. These guys are great! I love to work on my own cars so can be picky on who I choose to work on it. I was unable to do a repair so gave then a try. They did not argue with me on using my own parts, they had no problems with that at all. I told them that I knew my truck had other issues, and they didn't try to up sell me. The day after I picked up my truck from a clutch replacement, it died on the road from the duel pump going out. There was nothing that they did wrong. When I got it back, they were genuinely worried that they somehow broke my baby. One of the guys even offered to drive me home since I got towed in. They found it was the external pump and got it fixed super quick. Now the questions, are they the cheapest, no. But the price is fair. Are the the fastest, no. But their speed is

LOVED our experience at American Auto Repair! Not only did they treat my vehicle with care, but they treated us like family. I loved how friendly and helpful the staff was and how knowledgeable they were. When we weren't sure exactly what route to go when it came to services needed, they presented us with multiple options with price quotes so we could find something that worked for our budget. Had a flat tire, but an extra wheel in my trunk. with the flat my jack wasn’t able to get under the frame. Called around and they were the only ones that were able to do it in a jiffy. They nascared that thing and I was out in 10-15min. They’re very accommodating, and thoughtful with what they do there. Good people all around.

A bolt on my shifter broke while I was driving. A simple fix, but I had none of my tools on me. I limped my truck there and a couple guys were able to help me out to get back on the road. Really nice of them. Thats the mark of good people. I would go back to get work done.
