10/10 WOULD recommend. My car drives better after bringing it to them. And not only did they fix my snapped brake lines and my controls arm but they also topped up my tires on air free of charge. These are the guys to go to hands down.

New Army guy to Fairbanks, I attempted to buy tires from this store, unfortunately they couldn't order the size that I needed for my truck. I ended up buying the same tire online that they carry in store, but in my size. I tried to get the tire studded and mounted. When I talked to the gentleman at the front desk he said he thinks they can do it. Then the GM chimed in extremely rude, and flat out said no, we will not mount anything that wasnt purchased through them, was pretty rude. I was planning on buying tires for my wife's car through them but since the GM was so rude I figured ill give my money to Alyeska. Ill make sure to tell all my soldiers to go to Alyeska.

Got a new set of tires today 08/13/2024 for my F150, very happy with the expertise with the counter personal, along with the crew in the tire shop. The tire shop understood my concerns that i had with keeping my stock rims in top shape and did a great job in keeping them that way. Highly recomend American Tire. I want to add something I took a trip to Anchorage and to the Palmer fair etc. These tires handled beautifully no road noise very comfortable ride very satisfied no vibration balance perfectly.

I needed to replace the extremely worn out front tires on my RV and I had to be in Anchorage the next day by early afternoon. I called a few shops around and they either didn't have the tires in stock or couldn't get me in that same day. I called American Tire & Auto and talked to John. I told him my story and said he could move the schedule around and get me in. I drove straight there and their team had a new set of tires on in about an hour. Great customer service, good prices on tires, and good value. I highly recommend these guys.

Took until 4p even though they said it would be done in the early afternoon. Would have been cool with that if they did a good job-- but they broke off one of my lug nuts and said I would have to come back for an appointment to fix it and pay for it myself. Apparently the wheel is "safe and torqued to spec" without it; but the wheel is shaking when I drive it lmao. Now I have to miss another day of work, go get the part myself, take the wheel off and fix it after y'all refused to own up to your mistake. What a mess. They also left my window rolled down in the pouring rain so my driver side seat is soaked 👍👍👍 Go to giant tire instead I've always had great service there.
