Avis Car Rental

Cindy and her family continue to provide amazing customer service. We are going on two years working with Avis and we could not be more grateful. We are currently using a rental car as our daily driver due to a situation with our vehicle maker. Cindy and her team are highly responsive and helpful. Recently a rock hit our windshield and left it cracked. I called Cindy and she was so lighthearted about it, and told me to bring it in when I can and she will have a new vehicle for me. Every time I check in I'm greeted with a smile and almost always with a brand new rental car. Their cars are all so clean and well taken care of. I am grateful for their service.

I had my Avis hire car, hire from San Diego, break down in the vacinity and the break down recovery was going to take to long so I left the car overnight intending to sort it the following moring. However the car was towed by Avis that evening without telling me. The following morning I went into office to see if they could help and Cyndie was amazing and very helpful. She went out of her way to first off find out what happened to my original car and sort out an alternative car. Even though she didn't have access to systems to locate the car she got on the phone and reached out to people to track it down (in Avis maintinance yard in San Diego). Once that was established she was able to provide me with a replacement really quickly and have me on my way. This all saved me a lot of stress a

Worst customer service ever. Our family had an Avis car seat belt break so was told to exchange here. After showing them the replacement car the agent went on break and made them and their 3 small children wait for 20 minutes. There was another agent but he did not know how to do the exchange - but she still took a break!!!

I just got off the phone with a rep. 10/7 10:11am. I’m still shaken about it. I wanted to ask a question about my family and I getting insurance to travel to Mexico since I saw online that we could do it. The representative started talking over me when I wasn’t done asking my questions. I felt she was having a bad day, I asked if I could speak to someone higher and yelled out “I AM HIGHER!!”. I was truly shocked with her being condescending and escalating the call when we had only been on the call for max 2-3 minutes. I hope the call is recorded and it gets audited.

I got into a car accident and found myself in urgent need of getting a rental car. I am so glad I went with this Avis. The process was quick, smooth, and stress free. The staff Cyndie was kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. The car itself was spotless, clean, drives smoothly. Out of everything I am having to go through right now with the accident my experience with the professionalism at Avis has been giving me a lot of peace of mind while dealing with everything else.
