Honest, quality work! A shop you'd tell your daughter to go to. I previously lived in Hopkins and went to Baker for an oil change, tire rotation, and a headlight that was out almost 2 years ago. Instead of charging me for the headlight, the owner empowered and showed me how to do it myself. I have since moved to Crystal, and went to a shop local to my new home for a shudder I was feeling with the engine and a wheel sound. I was told by my local shop I simply accelerated too slowly, and they laughed at me. It didn't sit right with me, so I took my car back to Baker. Baker found my motor didn't have a torque bracket which keeps my motor in place and needed a transmission flush for the shudder I was feeling. I wasn't crazy. I received fair prices, high quality work, and honest recommendations

This business is down the street from my neighborhood. Today is Sunday and it's been super snowy. 2 guys in a very classy blue classic Ford truck with a plow from this company (they had the decal in the rear window) went around cleaning off the ends of people's driveways including mine for free. Very appreciated and if they conduct business like they treat there neighbors go here.

I was always taking my care to the dealer and wanted to try a local shop. Went to them because of the good reviews here but what a disappointing experience. My front left head light was not working and went for them to check it . Hours after dropping the car they called me stating that they took things a part and checked every thing and found that the headlight ballast and the Igniter are broken and need to be changed , the cost is $2000. Because I do not have that much money I picked up the car , paid them almost $200 they asked for ( assuming they did major checking ) and immediately took it to a small mechanic who open the hood found that all it needed to be done is to plug the light as it fell off and wow the light is working perfect . Dealer wanted $250/headlight + labor to fix. That sounded high so I checked with Baker Road. I was told they could get the bulbs for $190 each. It took them all of 30 mins to fix but then charged me $300 labor. $600/hr for labor is not ok!
