New wheels and tires for my Honda. Good price, good work and a great and immediate follow up. An old-time quality repair shop. Thanks. The one drawback has to do with the town of Freistadt itself. It's a lovely intersection with a hardware store, church and its campus, a grade school, and some nearby nature areas. Except for the hardware store, the only other establishment open to the public is a local bar that opens at 11:30. If you drop off a car early at Freistadt Auto or if there is a scheduling delay and you don't have a ride back home, it's very awkward to be walking along the street just the other side of an active grammar school, waiting for 11:30 as locals are hyper-sensitive, and rightly so, especially with strangers. I Was recommended this shop from another shop in mequon for carburetor work . Nothing but positive things to say about this place. Come to find out it was my distributor that was bad . They diagnosed the problem and replaced and tune carb for a fair price . I'll definitely be back when I have more issues with my cars .

Went there to have my power steering pump replaced and it to 3 days

Very, very, very disappointed with my work and service from Friestadt Auto. I brought a vehicle into Jim in which he told me needed a new engine for $9000. I asked him if the vehicle was worth putting that much money into it and he said he inspected the automobile and said yes you've taken very good care of it, which I did, and this is an engine that you should replace. I went ahead with the replacement and it took over 2 weeks. Jim said to bring back vehicle approximately 1500 miles later to have inspected which I did. Then he tells me the car is no longer drivable due to significant rusting on the underneath of the vehicle and parts needing to be replaced/welded, which is work he doesn't do. I know I may look stupid to some, but I can guarantee you that I am not stupid, a vehicle

Never again will I take a vehicle to freistadt auto! After having my work truck for 2 days, I was unable to work during those days, they have no answers on the secondary issue and haven’t even looked at the main issue it was brought in for! They claim to have had it in the shop to diagnose yet when I went by today, it was not even inside the shop anymore. Which tells me they pulled it out to work on someone else’s vehicle. Will never take a vehicle there again, nor will recommend them to anybody. Sad part is they were recommended by another very trusted technician and shop due to the ability to lift my work truck safely. Plus the guy that answers the phone had nothing but attitude in his voice
