****I have an update at the bottom of this review after corporate responded to the review***** I had an appointment on1/15 I got there at 10:30am for an oil change, tire balance, and to check my battery. when I got there they gave me a quote of an hour 1/2 to 2 hour time frame, (it took 3 hours) and approx. $162 if battery was fine. I walked to the store to get some coffee and when I got back I was told by the person with me that the battery was fine and didn't need to be replaced. upon completion of service the amount increased by approx. 125.00. I asked why and the lady said it was because of the alignment. I said what alignment? apparently the guy working on my car asked the person that was with me if he should go with it, he said yes because he thought it was included in the price.

**company keeps giving stock response to customers on here to make it look like they care. If they did, they'd be the ones reaching out by phone to make it right, rather than putting it on the unhappy customer to do so. If Goodyear really cares to make it right, you've got my number** I feel hustled. Made an appointment last week for brakes & rotors because I knew it was about that time. Service advisor called me back to let me know the service was not necessary, that I still had "plenty of wear" left on them - which was surprising but, I trusted him. He did recommend an alignment and rear diff services. I gave the 'ok' to go ahead even though I didn't have any concerns with my alignment since I hadn't had either done in some time. I appreciated being able to use the restroom when I arrived for my appointment but here's what I didn't appreciate. 1. When my order was being put in for my appointment, I didn't want there to be a discrepancy in the price so I said, "Do you need to see this?" She asked what it was and I said the price breakdown for the good oil change. Adrienne said, "You're getting the good oil change package?" I told her that's what I could afford and would get a different oil change later. She proceeded to tell me if I got the good oil change, I wouldn't be able to change. I stood there thinking if a customer COULDN'T change their mind about what oil change they want, WHY have different tiers? I then said, "So if I get the good oil change, I can never change?" Staff is very nice! Everyone here very helpful and knowledgeable. They make sure to let you know when they are special. Plus make sure to communicate about the process of your vehicle. If you are like me and only have one car then it makes your day run alot smoother.Definitely recommend giving them a try when you need things worked on your vehicle.

Things I liked - they were able to get me in same day which I needed. Things I didn't like - I booked my appointment online, and when entering my car information, it quoted the $35.99 oil - That's a great price! I thought to myself...when I entered the store they said my car requires the $85.99 oil. The guy then stated it could be up to 2 hours. I appreciate the honesty, but there was only 1 car in the shop and that car's family in the waiting room only. The car was done in an hour. I did appreciate that but he knew it wasn't going to take 2 hours - it almost seemed like he had better things to do and was trying to scare me away. I should have taken the hint.
