These guys always do a great job. Great place to go if you have a German car. The owner George is fun to talk to as well. I cut his hair every once in a while at Supercuts. The guys at the front desk are friendly and professional and are very quick about getting back to you with updates for quotes and what your vehicle needs and things like that. The places is very well run! Keep up the good work!

Caleb and his team at Independent took such good care of our Honda CRV. I needed a new engine and they found a replacement at a fair price, responded quickly, and even gave me advice about how I could keep up on the maintenance of my Honda on my own. One of the best foreign car repair mechanics in the Ellensburg area.

Was on a roadtrip home when I got a misfire on my 98 4Runner, took it to independent auto and they replaced an ignition coil and had me back on the road in just over an hour. Made it the 4 more hours home with no more issues. Definitely recommend these guys.

Had truck trouble on a Sunday going from Federal Way to flathead lake. All the repair shops said they had a 3-4 wait due to the high volume of traveler breakdowns. So I dropped my yukon off at independent auto repair, fully expecting to go in debt. They got me in on the second day. I was so pleased to see diagnostic tools and testing equipment. They found a cracked spark plug. That was the cause of my problem. They also found a performance issue and corrected it. Truck runs so much better now. The owner and the manager were the best people you could meet. The costs were decent industry standards. Makes you really appreciate great people in a great town. If you can be patient, this may just be the best repair shop you'll ever go to.

I was on my way home from Seattle in the rain and my windshield wipers got crossed and weren’t working correctly. I called at 4:15 and they got me in right away and fixed the issue in 5 minutes with friendly service and generous attitude. I’d definitely recommend working with them!
