Kansasland Tire and Service

Took my 2020 Ford Fusion in for an Oil Change, Airfilter, and a PO496 check engine light that I diagnosed with a plug in Diagnostic Checker. When I took my car in I told the technician I thought it needed a new purge Valve Solonoid according to my Diagnostic Checker. Tech told me they would need to do their own Diagnostic Check and that would run $185. On top of that it would be parts and labor. When it was all said and done I was charged $961. $361 of that was for the part they needed. As I did some research the OP/994-917 part was readily available at just about any NAPA store for between $120 on the Low Side to $175 on the High Side. Definetaly less than a $200 part. Kansasland Andover marked this part up over 200% On top of that They charged for 1 hour of Labor at $210 /

I have used Kansasland for all sorts of repairs from brakes and rotors, to oil changes, and new tires and time after time I receive excellent service and communication. Adam is my primary technician and always does outstanding work! The service advisors Corie and Robert are always welcoming and helpful throughout any process! I highly recommend this team of people! They are amazing!

Love this place. I drive across Wichita past countless competitors because Corie Thomas schedules all my maintenance and tire care appts and makes it super easy to get out there and take care of business. They are always timely and do great work. Staff is super friendly and their techs are knowledgeable and honest at a fair price. Not going anywhere else.

I used to think they were reasonably priced and trustworthy. Management has changed and the upcharges for parts are unbelievable! My car needed repairs -- they charged $186.00 diagnostic fee. The estimate for parts was $1,131.50 plus additional $1,191.48 labor and $199.58 sales tax. Oh, and add on the 3% credit card fee. We bought the same parts listed on the estimate from a reputable retailer online for exactly $369.09 including taxes and shipping. Someone else will do the work. No additional credit card surcharge. The oil change I paid for was about $100 for a 2010 Ford sedan. I had been a loyal customer at Kansasland Tire for over 10 years but I will not be back.

Took our car in for an oil change on Tuesday. Noticed an oil leak on Wednesday. Took the car back on Thursday and they didn’t want to take accountability for causing the leak. Instead, they charged nearly $200 for doing diagnostic and fixing the condition that they caused. I have been a customer here for over 10 years. I’d like to support businesses, but how likely does anyone think it is that it wasn’t leaking oil before we took it in and it immediately leaked oil after and they didn’t cause the problem? We won’t be doing business here again. There was a recent change of management and the service changed at the same time management changed. Go figure.
