I've gone to them twice myself and another time a family member was referred to them. The first time a local mechanic indicated the loud growling noise on the truck was from the front differential and sent my son to Transmission Central. They looked at it and correctly said, no, it was just a wheel bearing. Problem solved, saved $$$. The second time , my Toyota didn't seem to have the power it used to (I had just replaced the motor) and I couldn't figure it out. A local mechanic said there was no issue, that it drove like a Camry (!). The problem got worse until I had significant trouble getting up to speed and thought it might be the transmission (it came used with the motor). TC took it for a test drive and again, correctly diagnosed it was probably a clogged catalytic converter. Replac
