Northbrook Health and Rehab

This review is based on my own experiences. After extensive hospital stay 86 years old Mom started rehab here. Rehab team is Very Good, week after week they work hard to get Mom back on her feet. They try everything ,new treatments,new techniques no matter how many excuses she came up with . She improved allot ,but at the end couldn’t get back to her base line because of her new condition.After months of trying ,Mom decided to stay here for good as resident. People that work here truly care .From darling young lady at Reception who helped me many times with delivering food I dropped off to Moms room to cleaning lady who worked here for over 20 years taking pride in what she does best. This are just few staff members ( in my opinion) who going above and beyond everyday to make a difference.

My Mother spent 8 months here after we had to move her here because assisted living was no longer an option due to lack of mobility. We had ups and downs, as no place is perfect, however, they have some amazing staff that really cares about your family and loved one. My Mom passed away on June 29th this year, and the entire staff was exceptional to my Mom and my siblings and I, they kept us well informed during the 12 days of hospice on a daily basis. My Mom liked this place as much as one can like a nursing home. I’m thankful for all the staff that helped during my Mom’s time there, especially Director of Nursing, Alecia, Nurse, Maria, Nurses Aid, Barbara, (I met her on my Mom’s first day of admission and she is the most caring person I’ve ever met, she told on day one, don’t worry, I

My family member is a recent patient in NB Rehab and Health. The entire staff is very kind and he is feeling very comfortable there. The facility is nice and kept very clean. The food has been a big success with him, too. Thank you!

The friendly and attentive staff responds to visitors' requests regarding the patients staying there. The rooms are clean, and the patients are well-groomed.

Absolutely the very best place for your loved one. They are caring, compassionate and understanding. Can’t say enough good things.
