Premium Tire & Lube

I’ve been coming to Premium Lube for oil changes for quite a while and have never had any issues in the past. I actually drive all the way from La Grande because the service has always been quick, efficient, and reliable and affordable. However, my visit on 3/7/26 was a completely different experience. The manager, Derek, was extremely pushy, rude and obnoxious. He was mumbling rude comments under his breath and shaking his head at us, which was very unprofessional and uncomfortable as a customer. I also have a power steering fluid leak, and he insisted it was an oil leak. My brother is a mechanic with over 5 years of experience and has already looked at the issue, so I know that information was incorrect. The customer service during this visit was shockingly bad. I always receive friendly and fast service during my regular oil changes! Today, I went in with an issue I thought was oil related, and they took the time to check it over. Although it turned out to be something I needed to take to a mechanic, Derek was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in pinpointing what was wrong. I really appreciate him and his crew for going above and beyond to help me today!

They were one of the only places semi close to us that could mount tires on 24” x 14” wheels for our truck and the guys were wonderful! The fender did need to be cut a little but they said they didn’t have time which was a bummer but purely based on their ability to help us and customer service we were very pleased.

Absolutely, amazing and fast service!! Driving from Boise to Vancouver and got a flat tire on I 84, everyone else told me 3-4 hour wait. Premium tire was on their way immediately and had my tire changed within an hour!! Highly highly recommend!

If you ever have to have a flat tire, get it when close to PTL in Pendleton OR! The responsiveness, quality of service and good cheer can’t be beat. They arrived very fast, temporarily filled my tire so I could drive to their garage and fixed my tire within 35 of my call. And the whopper was it was free, because I chose the right spot the get a flat. Ofcourse YMMV resharing response time and billing but still the level of service and, again, the good cheer of everyone involved made it a pleasurable occasion instead of a stressful one. Thanx to Daryl en Eli especially and the man behind the counter whose name I failed to get.
